The beautiful sunshine and the wonderful visitors, made our annual club concourse a great success. Everyone that presented their lovely cars, could have been advertising for a polishing company. Well done to all exhibitionists and members making an effort to creating a splendid spectacle for visitors and participants.Here we could gauge our level of excellence for the nationals in Kimberly in March next year.So lets start with our preparations now and lets be well sorted before the end of this year.The following should be kept in mind:
1. early entries with organisers in Kimberly are being rewarded
2. make sure you have all your vehicles important documents handy
3. know when the convoy is leaving Cape Town
4. have you booked your B&B or alternative accommodation ,consider block bookings speak to other members to co-ordinate matters,share information at next meeting
5. lots of spare money for fun and entertainment
6. arrange for your pet-caretaker
7. budget for last minute vehicle service and tyre check in January 2013(lucky year!!)
8. inform all family members ,business associates, staff and clients that your cell phone will be off for that week, because you will having FUN with your BUDDIES -NO interference with your vital TIME-OUT
9. have a sense of humour and arm yourself with new jokes for the camp-fire
10. take a plastic crate along for all those trophies
